I’m excited to announce that San Diego Kids First is now offering a variety of postpartum support services for you and your baby to prevent and address postpartum symptoms!
As many as 1 in 7 moms and 1 in 10 dads experience symptoms of depression and anxiety during the postpartum period (during pregnancy or within the first year after delivery).
You are not alone!
Is bonding with your baby not going as you hoped for?
Seeking to learn more about your baby’s cues?
Want to feel more confident navigating the transition into parenthood?
Feeling overwhelmed or disconnected?
Having thoughts that don’t feel like yourself?
Are the Baby Blues not going away?
If you answered “Yes” to any of the questions above, our early childhood and postpartum expert, Priscilla Tebelman, LMFT is here to support you and your family throughout this journey.
Priscilla is trained in Postpartum Mood and Anxiety disorders and greatly enjoys supporting parents during the perinatal and postpartum periods while helping them connect with their babies through dyadic therapy. She is passionate about helping families find ease and joy in the ups and downs of their lives. When working with families, Priscilla uses reflection, curiosity, and play as avenues to strengthen parent-child connections and support caregivers to gain new insights about their children and how to manage the challenging moments that arise.
We are thrilled to offer this new service for the caregivers in our community. If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please call or email our office at 858-692-4187 // contact@sdkidsfirst.com.
