Hi Dr Pontillo, My name is Cindy. I am a licensed therapist with Omeo Mental health. I really appreciate your training with us last month. I am wondering if you’re still taking new clients. My client’s son is about 16 years old, diagnosed with autism and ADHD. He also had a lot of abuse when young, witnessed father hitting mother. Parents are now divorced and he’s living with mom. However, he’s very disrespectful of mother, telling her that she should go die. He’s also growing resentment towards his ABA therapists now. He definitely needs a lot of support and guidance, but not willing or engaged to ABA or therapy. I’m wondering if you and your team would be able to work with him. They have Medi-cal community health group.
