We are thrilled to celebrate a very special milestone—San Diego Kids First turns 20!

Founded in 2005 by Dr. Deborah Pontillo, San Diego Kids First began as a heartfelt mission to support children and families through compassionate, expert care. What started with one provider and one big vision has blossomed into a thriving, multidisciplinary practice with a team of dedicated professionals across our community.

Over the past two decades, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside thousands of families—offering psychological and developmental services, building lasting connections, and creating a safe and supportive space for every child to thrive.

We look forward to the next 20 years of growing together, supporting each other, and putting San Diego’s kids first.
