I’m excited to announce that we are now offering new openings and appointments for our clients! Our specialized behavior interventionist will provide these targeted services within the community through our sister clinic, San Diego Behavior Solutions.

New Availaibities include

Social Skills Group Training, In-Home Behavioral Interventions, Classroom/School-based Interventions, and OCD Treatment/Exposure Response Prevention (ERP).

Please view the descriptions below for a detailed outline of each service!

Social Skills Group Training

Social skills are essential for future success in all aspects of life! In addition to giving your children the tools they need to be prepared for a lifetime of healthy social interaction with others, our group provides children with strategies for developing self-regulation and building a solid core of self-esteem and self-confidence to navigate situations with peers in the home, and in life

In-Home Behavior Intervention

Home-based interventions provide a personalized and supportive approach to help children build essential skills in their natural environment. These interventions can include structured behavior plans, emotional regulation strategies, social skills development, and executive functioning support. We work closely with families to address challenges such as transitions, following directions, managing anxiety, and improving daily routines.

School/ Classroom Observations & Interventions

We conduct classroom observations to develop an in-depth targeted behavior intervention plan for your little one! This will include organizational skills, classroom behavior, and educational tips/tools. We can also work directly with school directors and administrators on how to work with children who have tricky behavior.

OCD Treatment/Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is the gold-standard treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). ERP helps individuals confront fears and reduce compulsive behaviors in a structured, supportive way—right in the environments where symptoms are most present. Home-based ERP interventions include identifying triggers, developing personalized exposure plans, and gradually building resilience to anxiety-driven thoughts and behaviors.

If you have any questions or would like to schedule an appointment with one of our behavior interventionists, please email or call our office at contact@sdkidsfirst.com / (858) 692-4187, and we will be happy to help you!
